Privacy
This page is short because there is very little to disclose.
Your documents never reach us
The entire invoice or receipt is compressed into the part of the link after the #
(the URL fragment). Browsers do not send fragments to servers, so neither the generator nor the
viewer page ever transmits your document anywhere. There is no account and nothing to sign up
for — if you have the link, you have the document.
Saved on this device
If you use the "save to this device" button, the invoice or receipt is written to your browser's local storage (IndexedDB). It stays in that one browser on that one device — we can't see it, it isn't synced anywhere, and clearing your browser data deletes it. Use the "Download backup" button to keep a copy or move your saved documents to another device.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard connection data (like your IP address) to deliver the page, as any host does.
Ads & analytics
Because every invoice and receipt lives entirely in the URL fragment, nothing you type is ever sent to us or to anyone else — that holds no matter what else the site loads. We may show ads or add privacy-friendly, cookieless page-view counting (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to keep InvoiceIguana free; neither can see your document contents.
Logo images
The generator's logo field (paste a URL or choose a file — either way) downloads the image once
and embeds a small, low-resolution copy directly in the link, so viewing the document never
contacts anyone. Links made before this changed can still carry a plain https:// logo
URL instead — those still work, and viewing one of those makes a normal image request to whoever
hosts that logo (the same way any web page's images work, revealing your IP address and roughly
when you viewed it to that host). That's the one case that isn't fully private, and it only affects
older links.
