Videographer invoice FAQ
What should a videography invoice include?
Your business name, the client, the shoot date and type, deliverables (coverage hours, edited films, clips, formats), any deposit, usage/licensing terms, total, and the balance due.
How do I invoice a video deposit?
Bill the full package, then subtract the deposit so the invoice shows the remaining balance. Note the deposit amount and date, and whether it’s refundable.
Should licensing be on a video invoice?
For commercial work, yes — a usage line (personal, social, broadcast) in the notes sets expectations and protects your work.
